Person responsible for personal information
Under Quebec’s Law 25 (An Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information), responsibility for the protection of personal information at DC Maintenance Inc. rests with the person holding the highest authority in the company.
You can reach them by email at Info@dc-maintenance.net, by phone at 514-278-9000, or by mail at 1310 rue Bégin, Ville St-Laurent, Quebec H4R 1X1.
What we collect
Only what you type into the estimate form yourself: your name, phone number, email address, company name if you give one, the services you are interested in, the frequency you want and the description of your needs.
The site creates no accounts, asks for no passwords and processes no payments. Our hosts keep technical logs (IP address, browser type, date of visit) for security and diagnostics, as any web server does.
Why we collect it
For one reason: to contact you and prepare the estimate you asked for. We do not use this information for solicitation, advertising or profiling, and we neither sell nor rent it to anyone.
If we ever wanted to send you commercial messages, we would ask for separate, explicit consent first, as Canada’s anti-spam legislation requires.
Your consent
By submitting the form you consent to our using the information provided to answer your request. That consent is free: nothing obliges you to use the form, and you can reach us by phone or email instead.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. We will then stop using your information and delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Who else has access
Two providers are involved in running the site. Web3Forms processes the form submission and delivers its contents to our inbox. Vercel hosts the site and serves its pages.
These providers may store or process information outside Quebec, including in the United States, where the personal-information regime differs from Quebec’s. No other third party receives your information.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. It uses no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no audience measurement and no profiling technology. Fonts are served from our own server, not from an external service.
The map on the contact page is the only exception: it comes from Google and loads only if you click to display it. Until you do, nothing is sent to Google.
How long we keep it
We keep your request as long as it takes to answer it and, if a business relationship follows, for its duration plus any retention period the law requires. Requests that lead to no contract are deleted once they are no longer useful.
Your rights
You have the right to know what information we hold about you, to access it, to have it corrected if it is inaccurate, to ask for its deletion, to withdraw your consent, and to receive the information you gave us in a structured, commonly used technological format.
Write to Info@dc-maintenance.net. We answer within the 30 days the law provides.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. The form service access key stays on the server and is never exposed in the browser. The form includes a spam trap to block automated submissions.
Changes
We may amend this policy. The update date above always indicates the version in force.
Questions or complaints
Write to us first: Info@dc-maintenance.net or 514-278-9000. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
